UTRWD Returns to Stage 1 Water Restrictions
October 2, 2024
The Fresh Water Supply Districts of Paloma Creek and Northlake Estates (The Districts) have been advised that Mustang SUD recently rescinded their water restrictions for Mustang SUD customers.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RESIDENTS OF PALOMA CREEK AND NORTHLAKE ESTATES.
Please note that the Districts contract directly with Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD) and the contract between these two entities requires the Districts to mirror UTRWD's Drought Stages. UTRWD remains at Drought Stage 1 Level. Effective 10/01/2024, the Districts will rescind their Drought Stage 2 Level and match UTRWD's Drought Stage 1 Level. Mustang SUD does not set the drought stages for the Districts. Mustang SUD only serves as the water operator for the Districts and they do not regulate or set these drought stages for the Districts.
From UTRWD: Water Less Y’all! Upper Trinity has enacted permanent, mandatory schedules of no more than 2 days of watering a yard per week. Pledge 2 do your part to make sure there’s always enough water.
The two watering days per week for Paloma Creek and Northlake Estates are listed below: Stage 1 Water Restrictions:
Addresses ending in even numbers water on Mondays and Fridays.
Addresses ending in odd numbers water on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
HOA and Commercial Locations water on Sundays and Wednesdays. For more information about the Drought Stage 1 Level, please see the link below: https://utrwd.com/saving-water/help-us-conserve/drought-emergency-management/https://utrwd.com/saving-water/help-us-conserve/drought-emergency-management/
